In case you haven’t heard, there’s a ukulele craze going on, and it’s easy to understand why… The ukulele is a wonderfully versatile instrument that’s not only inexpensive, but it’s portable, and best of all, it’s easy to play! In this interactive session, you will get all the basics you need to teach yourself how to play the ukulele including tuning the instrument, reading tablature, playing chords, and strumming. By the end of the class you will be able to play a song of your choice, and you will learn a few different ways to incorporate the ukulele into your classroom.

This session is geared toward the novice ukulele player, however experienced players are welcome to join us to offer their expertise and have fun.

Please note: attendees must bring their own ukulele.
