SkipTime jump rope club offers both competitive and recreational programs in the city of Calgary. In just 6 years, the competitive team has grown to more than 20 members and competes on both Provincial and National levels. Our mandate of “being ambassadors to the sport of jump rope”, is supported by contributing to the Alberta All Stars; a program which helps deliver workshops, develop expertise throughout the province, and conducting demonstrations in the community. Skiptime also has experience partnering with schools and after school programs to promote the sport of jump rope.
The club’s demonstration team performs at local venues and has been recognized for outstanding entertainment, enthusiasm and dedication. In conjunction with Calgary Jump Crew, Skiptime was awarded “Best Performance of the 2014 Stampede Parade Prelude.”
SkipTime offers recreational skipping classes for children between the age of 6-16 years. The classes emphasize fun, fitness and teamwork guided by the CANSkip programs for skill development. Nearly 50 children participate in the recreation program each session and it continues to grow. For more information about Skip Time, please check the website at https://www.skiptime.ca/
