A former teacher, Lois Donovan is the author of two time-travel historical novels, The Journal, and Winds of L’Acadie, both of which feature significant stories from Canada’s past. Born in Quebec, Lois spent most of her growing up years in New Brunswick before attending Acadia University in Nova Scotia. From there she was called to the west where she completed her Education degree at University of Alberta, followed by a music diploma at University of Calgary. 

In addition to reading and writing, Lois enjoys sharing her passion for Canada’s stories, and her love of writing at schools, conferences and conventions.
