Bonnie Lewin is a Registered Social Worker in Alberta and works for the City of Calgary, Calgary Emergency Management Agency, as the Emergency Social Services (ESS) Planner. As an ESS Planner, Bonnie ensures citizens who are displaced from their home or community due to a disaster or emergency are supported and their immediate needs are met. She incorporates partners and Calgarians into Calgary's ESS plans, training and responses. Bonnie is a certified Psychological First Aid (PFA) instructor and wants to share PFA with educators and assist them with students who go through a traumatic event.
