Janice Bidyk is a registered Social Worker in Alberta, with a Masters in Social Work. She has been working at the City of Calgary for 17 years and during that time she has supported children, youth and their families. Janice’s current role is a Social Worker in the Multi Agency School Support Team (MASST) in partnership with the Calgary Police Service. MASST is an early intervention program to support children and youth who are exhibiting behaviours that puts them at risk for criminal involvement or victimization. Janice is a certified Psychological First Aid (PFA) instructor and wants to assist teachers when they have a student who has experienced a traumatic event.
