Daniel V. Sadler is a proud, born and raised Calgarian.

Daniel attended the University of British Columbia Okanagan for his undergraduate studies and is certified in Communications and Marketing from SAIT and Knowledge Translation from SickKids Hospital in Toronto. He is currently pursuing his Project Management Professional designation at the University of Calgary.

Daniel recognizes that youth are shaped by their environments and is committed to supporting families where they are. He currently works as a project manager and policy researcher for Calgary and Area Regional Collaborative Service Delivery (RCSD) and volunteers as a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters Calgary and Area, tutoring and mentoring youth in academic subjects.

Daniel grounds his approach to his work in the theories of Michel Foucault, looking at how individuals and communities negotiate power and systems in society and applies this lens to the GSD community and other intersectional identities.
