Julie Harris holds a B.Mus. from the University of Calgary, an Artist Diploma from the University of Toronto, and studied early music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. She has appeared with the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, Toronto Chamber Choir, Alberta Baroque (Edmonton) and La Cetra (Vancouver) and has been engaged for roles in Baroque Opera with Opera Atelier and the Toronto Consort.Julie is a founding member of VoiceScapes. She also teaches voice privately, coaches numerous choirs and directs the Collegium Musicum at the University of Calgary. In 1999, she founded Calgary’s Early Music Voices Concert Series which has just celebrated its 15th Anniversary.
