Aldo Bruccoleri PhD

Dr. Aldo Bruccoleri a graduate from the University of Calgary and McGill University, is a research chemist and educator with industrial, and academic experience at the university, college and high school level. He has most recently joined the Calgary Board of Education after setting up and directing a major research project in the greater NYC area. Aldo has also worked as a research associate at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute and the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary where he invented a series of natural product-based neuroprotection agents that are still being studied. His interests lie in brain health, epigenetics, brain-based learning and memory. He has approximately 100 research contributions including peer-reviewed manuscripts, patents and research presentations. Now as part of the CBE team, Aldo will function as an educator in science and will continue to improve his knowledge of brain-based learning and the impact traumatic experiences may have on the epigenome.
