Calgary Zoo: Year-Round Herb Gardens, how to care for them and what to use them for

Herbs make a great addition to a garden, but they can also be grown indoors as year-round houseplants or just during the winter months to protect tender herbs such as rosemary or basil.

In this workshop we will share knowledge with you about growing an herb garden so that it will flourish and give you fresh herbs all year!

During this workshop all information about how to grow an indoor herb garden will be provided, including which are the best edibles, the best for pollinators and which to grow from seed, cuttings or from starts along with all the materials to create your very own take home herb garden with a variety of herbs.
