Are you ready to have some fun and play math games that make an impact? We will play a variety of games so you can experience potential challenges from a variety of students’ perspectives. Our debrief will begin with a discussion about the math within the game - what to look for, what to listen for, questions to ask students, ideas for differentiation and error handling. Games can be engaging and motivating, while simultaneously providing opportunities for students to deepen their mathematical understanding and reasoning. You will leave this session with many ready-made online resources you can access and print. Come and join us in our playful, yet, purposeful time together.
