Are You Suicide Aware?
Suicide isn’t as random as it may seem and it’s important for everyone to talk about. Every day in Canada, 12 people die by suicide and 1 in every 20 people are having thoughts of suicide at any one time.
As we saw this past year, suicide impacts every facet of our society – children, teens, adults, wealthy and poor. It does not discriminate by religion, culture or gender.
Have you ever wondered how you can identify and support those around you who may be having thoughts of suicide?
Let us share our knowledge with you because suicide prevention is collaborative work and prevention is the only solution to suicide.
