Do you have math manipulatives sitting on a dusty shelf?  Do you wonder whether you should be using them to support your Junior High students? It’s time to put them to great use!  Come and join us for a hands-on experience with math manipulatives and visual representations to increase your students conceptual knowledge and procedural fluency.  This is a great time to experience the benefits of kinesthetic materials and become more comfortable with using them to support all students, regardless of their grade.   Topics addressed include multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.    


Our exploration will include some of the following:

- Base 10 Blocks

- Cuisenaire Rods

- Blank 100 grids

- Blocks
