1 Hour Session
When:
Thursday Feb 14   12:30 PM to 01:30 PM (1 hour)
Where:
Behavioral patterns of students at risk for self harm and suicide will be explored followed by safety planning procedures with your school's ASIST trained teacher, counsellors, and administration. Knowing how to respond most effectively can make the difference a student needs to stay safe until they can attain treatment. Although not all threats of suicide are serious all are important and each one must be handled in the correct way. This session is meant to help you respond in the most supportive and efficient way possible. Consultation with your administration on their preferred procedures should always be considered afterwards. Bring your cell phone with wi-fi access to session as we will use an online platform to test our skills at the end of session.
