What:
Half Day Workshop
When:
Thursday Feb 14   09:00 AM to 11:45 AM (2 hours 45 minutes)
Where:
The Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying game provides meaningful, creative and inclusive opportunities for students who don’t fit into the typical mold to make friends, build relationships and practice social skills. Imagine yourself as Harry Potter, Bilbo Baggins, or Eleven from Stranger Things about to set out on adventure! Students will: Explore writing, art-making and conquer their fear of public speaking all while battling monsters! We will discuss the challenges of starting a DnD club in your school using roleplay as a venue for creative writing, critical discussion, debate, and building social and co-operative skills. Every attendee will receive a digital starter kit that will give them everything they (or intrepid students) need to begin their first foray into a world of Dragons, Goblins and Adventure!
