Finding ways to meet each individual student’s learning needs is essential to every child’s success in the inclusive classroom. At the PREP Program we work directly with schools finding ways to modify and support students with Down syndrome and other diverse learning needs in the regular classroom. With over 20 years of experience modifying programming we will share resources and help build a repertoire of strategies that can be used in various subject areas. By taking the Learning Outcomes from the Program of Studies we will be demonstrating activities for daily practice, skill building and assessment in the classroom. You will learn and take home examples and ready to use strategies in our workshop. Our goal is for every student to be actively engaged in the regular classroom and their school community.
