What the ART?

This session will be dedicated to showing ideas on how to weave art into grade 2 Social Studies curriculum.  In this session we will do three different art projects using 3 different techniques to represent the three communities studied in grade 2. Art is a non verbal way for students to connect to curriculum and express their understanding. Participants will leave with three art pieces that can be used in the classroom to display their learning.
