This wildly engaging session will take place outdoors in the morning and indoors in the afternoon at Crescent Heights High School, Learning Commons 216.

Teachers will learn how outdoor learning, in all seasons, provides the learner with:

- Authentic wonderment and opportunities for inquiry
- Self-awareness, resilience and independence
- An immersive curriculum where students are and engaged and empowered
- Increased community connections and environmental stewardship
- The opportunity to be mindful - to be still

We know outdoor learning provides the teachers with:

- A natural setting to honour Indigenous ways of knowing and being
- Opportunities to learn alongside your students
- Increased confidence to move learning outside the traditional classroom setting
- Rich organic opportunities to achieve many curriculum outcomes through an emergent curriculum
- Personalized experiential learning
