Learning how to Code with Arduinos

Half Day Workshop
Thursday Feb 14   09:00 AM to 11:45 AM (2 hours 45 minutes)
TELUS Spark - Digital Media Studio

Microcontrollers are all around us; they help us heat up food in the microwave and decide when to turn on our furnaces. Now that consumer-grade microcontrollers such as Arduinos have become common in maker spaces and schools, you might need a brief introduction. This workshop is designed to introduce professionals to microcontrollers, circuitry, and coding with a variety of facilitated hands-on exercises and lessons using Arduinos. You will learn how to wire a microcontroller into a circuit and use the Integrated Development Environment to code inputs and outputs.
