The Legion works with veterans, RCMP and their families to ensure they receive the benefits they deserve and the support they need. For those veterans who struggle in their daily lives, The Legion is there to help with Poppy Funds, advocacy, and friendship. By sponsoring and promoting research, new and innovative techniques and programs are being developed and implemented to help change the lives of those suffering from both visible and invisible wounds.

It is imperative that the connection between our future leaders and the sacrifices made by our veterans is not lost. The use of audio-visual aids and lesson plans help provide an important link, but the interaction with a veteran and their family can make a long-lasting impact on students and serve to maintain the foundation of support for those who have served.

The Royal Canadian Legion works to support veterans, RCMP and their families in communities across the country.
