This session will highlight the many diverse resources created for Education for Reconciliation, through an Alberta Education grant. Alberta Regional Professional Development Consortia site, Empowering the Spirit, supports a culture of belonging for all learners with a strong foundational knowledge of Alberta's First Nation, Métis and Inuit peoples. You will learn through story about land based approaches, treaty education, Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action and application of the the TQS competency in your K-12 classrooms. Storytelling will be used to create connections to content and connections with students.
